About Me
Growing up in New Jersey, I quickly fell in love with East Coast rock classics Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Donald Fagen, and so many others. I started playing piano at a really young age after seeing a Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden. My musical education started to blossom after successfully making it into an extracurricular music school called The Rockit Live Music Academy where I studied under a variety of incredible instructors and mentors. My personal piano instructor, Dan Ricker, taught me how to approach the piano in my own unique way. Throughout my time with Rockit, I had the opportunity of sharing the stage with accomplished artists such as Steven Van Zandt, Ricky Byrd, Johnny Farina, Max Weinberg, Franke Previte, and others.
After graduating from both Rockit and High School, my musical journey took me across the country where I was accepted into USC Thornton School of Music. Over the course of most of my college career, I studied privately under R&B artist and jazz pianist Patrice Rushen. I’ve also had the honor of studying under mentors such as Russell Ferrante, Sean Holt, and Jae Deal.
Today, I work in the music industry full-time. Between gigging, session work, writing, and arranging, I am fully immersed in the musical world.
