About Me
Hi, my name is Sean, a full-time musician based in Los Angeles, California. I graduated from the USC Thornton School of Music, where I had the privilege of studying under renowned artists such as Patrice Rushen, Paul Jackson Jr, Sean Holt, Jae Deal, and many others.
My musical journey is diverse, encompassing everything from touring and live performances to composing for TV and film. I play keyboards for weddings and corporate events, produce and write original music, and build/run Ableton sessions for pop artists. Additionally, I specialize in synthesizer and sound design.
Growing up in New Jersey, I developed a deep love for East Coast legends like Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Donald Fagen, and many others. My passion for music was sparked at a young age, especially after seeing Billy Joel perform live at Madison Square Garden. Inspired, I started playing piano early on, and my musical journey truly took off when I was accepted into The Rockit Live Music Academy, an extracurricular music program. There, I had the privilege of learning from an incredible group of instructors and mentors. My piano teacher, Dan Ricker, was particularly influential, teaching me how to approach the instrument in my own unique way. During my time at Rockit, I also had the amazing opportunity to share the stage with accomplished artists like Steven Van Zandt, Ricky Byrd, Johnny Farina, Max Weinberg, Franke Previte, and others.
After graduating from both The Rockit Live Music Academy and high school, my musical journey took me across the country to Los Angeles, where I was accepted into the USC Thornton School of Music. During my time there, I had the privilege of studying privately with Patrice Rushen. Additionally, I’ve been fortunate to learn from a diverse group of mentors, including Russell Ferrante, Sean Holt, and Jae Deal.
Today, I’m fully immersed in the music industry, working as a performer, session musician, composer, and arranger. Whether gigging, recording, or writing, music is at the heart of everything I do.
